About The Event
Are you struggling with pain or long term illness? Please join us for a small group program (10 or less) which will take a deep dive into mindful living. This 8 week series is designed to help you:– cope with symptoms of pain while living your life– manage fatigue– respect your limits and manage your self-care while decreasing feeling guilty– learn mindfulness techniques which can be incorporated into various parts of your day– begin to show yourself loving-kindness and compassion in the face of your challenges
There will also be a full day session mid-way through the program (November 20th, 10am-3pm) to enhance your learnings and integration to daily life. In the event that it is required for us to maintain physical distancing, this program will be offered using a secure online platform.
If required, forms can be completed to apply for funding through auto insurance (HCAI). May be covered by extended private health insurance.Interested participants are asked to schedule a 15 minute phone call with Sarah to ensure the program is the proper fit for you through the “register” button aside. This program will be taught by Sarah Good, Occupational Therapist and mindfulness meditation teacher.
