Yin is the feminine, passive, receptive, reflective, withdrawn, and introspective aspects of life. Take this time to BE withYIN and connect with all aspects of your being (body, mind,heart, & Soul).
Incorporating breath work (pranayama) allows us to access and move deep into our connective tissue expanding flexibility while also invigorating the energy centers of the body, to release blockages, increase our energy flow, and reduce stress of the body and mind.
During this 90 minute mindful movement class we will guide you to meet your edge of comfort in tension releasing yoga postures that are held for up to 5 minutes. Holding poses for several minutes teaches us to relax. We begin to release tension that is deeply engrained in our muscles, which then allows us to access the deeper tensions in our connective tissues.
To further enhance your being WithYIN experience, Plant Medicines (essential oils) will be diffused throughout the class~ Inviting all of our senses to be awakened.
This class ends in Ceremony, as we Journey inward( guided meditation) to heal, transform and evolve.
